The light in the darkness is a glimmer of hope, Something we all look for in the end. Making the trip easy on this downward slope, Just following the pulse of the scend. The light dwindling slowly fades away, And with it that feeling we all desire. The pulse continues, a gentle sway, This euphoria taking me higher. Some times I wake up at night thinking about what went wrong, Thinking about you and me wondering why do I even try.
